Md. Abdur Razzaq

Md. Abdur Razzaq, one of the leading business personalities of Bangladesh, has recently been selected as ‘CIP” (Large Industry, Manufacturing) for the 2nd time. He is contributing significantly to the growth of country's national economy involving himself in manufacturing of life saving drugs, medical devices including many other medical accessories forming 18 companies under the umbrella of JMI Group in Bangladesh. Currently he has been carrying out his responsibilities as Managing Director of JMI Group. Md. Abdur Razzaq was born in 1963 at a village of Azizpur under Senbag Upazila of Noakhali District. He is son of Late Shafiullah and Mrs. Anowara Begum. He obtained his Masters in Economics from University of Chittagong. He acquired a vast experience and expertise on manufacturing of sterile medical devices from Japan. Md. Abdur Razzaq has made a remarkable progress in his business within a short span of time as he is very energetic and talented having innovative personality that made JMI Group a very well-known business conglomerate in the country.

JMI Group at a Glance

JMI Industrial Gas Ltd. (A joint venture company with Japan and Turkey) has more units in gases like Special Gas & LPG. JIGL is the first company to introduce Ethylene Oxide gas mixing plant in Bangladesh. JMI LPG is going to successfully starts commercial operation with the most commitment convenience, availability, functionality and safety. The company is expected to meet the growing demand of LP Gas, especially mitigating existing gas crisis in Bangladesh with consolidated capacity of 1,00,000 MT per year. That which be doubled up the market expansion.
